A coalition of state law led by Vice President Nuri al-Maliki on Wednesday questioned the possibility of disbursing the funds allocated by the current government in the specific pain in response to the demands of the demonstrators.
The central and southern governorates of Iraq have witnessed widespread protests over the past few days against the deteriorating service and living conditions, the spread of financial and administrative corruption, and the high rate of unemployment within the society, prompting the government to take a series of urgent measures to meet the demands of demonstrators.
"The demands of the demonstrators are legitimate and most of them require a financial fringe. There must be supervision over what the government is doing to our governorates because it is unreasonable to give a province and leave another or hear money we hear about by means," said the winning candidate for the coalition of state law Mansour al-Baiji. Only media should be there to control the government action. "
"The current government is out of state and can not spend money without referring to the House of Representatives, considering that we want to have credibility on what the government is doing and not just slogans or anesthesia for the people."
Al-Baiji called on the judges to speed up the process of counting and partial counting and announce the results as soon as possible so that we can overcome the current crisis and achieve the greatest possible rights of the people.
The Electoral Commission for the elections "judges delegated" from the former House of the process of counting and manual sorting of funds contested and doubtful to falsify their results in several provinces, including the Kurdistan Region.
