    Information / Baghdad ..
A UN report has revealed that North Korea has not stopped its nuclear and missile programs in violation of UN sanctions.
The report, prepared by independent experts monitoring UN sanctions, was submitted to the UN Security Council's sanctions committee late on Friday.
"North Korea has not stopped its nuclear and missile programs and has continued to defy Security Council resolutions by substantially increasing the illegal transfer of petroleum products from ship to ship, and also through coal transfers in the sea in 2018," experts said in the 149-page report. .
North Korea's UN mission did not respond to the request for comment on the report.
The report comes as Russia and China propose that the Security Council discuss the easing of sanctions after US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met for the first time in June, and Kim pledged to work towards nuclear disarmament. Ending / 25
