[rtl]BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is moving to appoint former governor of Najaf Adnan al-Zarafi as head of the Popular Struggle Organization and national security adviser to replace Faleh al-Fayadh, who was sacked late on Thursday, an informed source said on Friday.
The source told (today's Iraq) that "Abadi will issue a command to appoint a leader in his coalition (victory) these sensitive security positions in the successor to Faleh Fayyad, who announced his withdrawal with a number of deputies of the Alliance victory and join the axis of law and conquest.
"Zarfi has very strong relations with the United States, and it is hoped that his appointment in these positions will raise the sensitivity of excessive factions and forces within the popular crowd."[/rtl]
