    [size=45]The Popular Mobilization Authority responded to the statements of the head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, reminding him of the “forgery” incident that ended his membership in the House of Representatives by a decision of the Federal Court, while considering him “unqualified” to appoint himself as a “preacher and advisor to others.”[/size]
    [size=45]The commission said in a statement that it rejects “what was issued by the dismissed Speaker of Parliament, Mohammed al-Halbousi, against the service and retirement law for the Popular Mobilization Forces’ fighters and what it included of accusations and fallacies against the commission and its president.”[/size]
    [size=45]She added, "The Authority operates in accordance with the laws, especially Law 40 of 2016, which defined the Authority's relationship with political, partisan and social parties, as it clearly stipulated its separation from political, partisan and social frameworks."[/size]
    [size=45]She continued: “We reject the methods of distorting the image of our Mujahideen, overlooking their great sacrifices, and bringing back the sectarian strife that our people have overcome through the mixing of the blood of its sons from all components and sects in the epic of defending the homeland and the sanctities.”[/size]
    [size=45]She added, "Anyone who violates the constitution and the law and is convicted of forgery is not qualified to appoint himself as a preacher and advisor to others."[/size]
    [size=45]She concluded by saying: “We hope that our brothers in the House of Representatives will do justice to our Mujahideen and what they have offered to our dear country since the fatwa of the religious authority and the call of the homeland in circumstances that are not hidden from everyone and that some ignore.”[/size]
