The Israeli army: We are following closely the Iranian position in Iraq

The Commander of the Israeli Air Force Intelligence Major General Uri Oron confirmed that his country is following the military positioning of Iran in Iraq , including the installation of surface-to-surface missiles capable of striking Israeli targets. "We are constantly following Iranian firepower, we have to take care of Iraq," he
told the Israeli daily Haaretz . "Air Force intelligence did not give Iraq any attention a year ago."
"Iran is also involved in the production of missiles in Syria and Lebanon, " Oron said.
Israeli officials have repeatedly asserted their country 's determination not to allow the strengthening of Iran 's military presence in neighboring countries to Israel , especially in Syria.
