Deputy demands Abdul Mahdi to drop his French citizenship and return Iraqi funds

BAGHDAD / A member of the Independent House of Representatives Kazem Sayadi on Monday called on Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi to "drop his French citizenship and return a million dollars to the state."
"He called on Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi to drop his French citizenship as a basis for his election as prime minister," Sayadi said in a statement received by Iraq News.
He called the fishermen, according to the statement, "Abdul Mahdi to disclose his money and the money of his family, and apologize to the people for the section he spoke about the disbursement of his office a million dollars and return the money to the Iraqi treasury."
