Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Scholars of Iraq Group accused some political and partisan sides of terrifying and threatening those who belong to the moderate trend.
The SIG cited in a statement that “It becomes very clear now, that the conflict in Iraq is restricted between two contradicted approaches, the first one represents the moderate trend which believes in the peaceful co-existence and dialogue, while the other approach is quite contradictory which always seeks to harm those advocate for dialogue, peace and moderation.”
“The Scholars of Iraq Group warns from increasing the pressures on the scholars and intellectuals where these pressures went beyond threatening those who attend mosques in different parts of Iraq for ambiguous goals,” the statement concluded.
