    Baghdad Municipality denies that some companies offer offers to buy waste

    Municipality on Monday denied reports that some companies had offered bids for the waste of the capital. 

    In a statement received by Alsumaria News, the Secretariat said that "the news circulated by some social media, including some companies offer to buy Baghdad waste is inaccurate and lacks a lot of details." 

    The Secretariat of Baghdad, "the media that wish to obtain any information to review the competent authorities in the Secretariat."




    On Sunday, local media reported a statement by the assistant director of the Department of Environment and Solid Waste in the Municipality of Baghdad, Sami Abdul Amir, in which he said that "the Secretariat is studying offers from 28 foreign companies to buy the waste and convert it into electrical energy."
