    The Investment Authority of Baghdad announced on Saturday the transfer of more than 70 residential projects on investment and some of them have been close to delivery.
    This came during the fourth conference of Horizon Holding Company and the group of investment companies in Baghdad.
    The Chairman of the Investment Authority Baghdad Shaker Zamili said in a speech to the conference that the investment law provided a great opportunity for Iraqi and Arab investors and foreigners and granting them significant privileges represented the right of insurance and tax and customs exemptions as well as the role of the Baghdad Investment Commission in overcoming all the obstacles facing investors and their projects, Of the challenges, but was able to cadre of not more than fifty employees develop the investment reality in the capital Baghdad and create an attractive investment environment through coordination with the relevant authorities, was able to grant many of the investment leaves and The various sectors.
    He added that the Baghdad Investment Authority has granted in the housing sector more than seventy residential projects, most notably the Al Ayad residential complex and Al Yamamah residential complex. Soon the first phase of the project will be handed over to the Al-Shaab complex.
    He also pointed out that there is an ambitious and large plan for residential investment projects in Abu Ghraib, Taji and Husayniyah, stressing that most of these projects need government support to provide infrastructure (electricity, water and sanitation) to speed up their implementation and on time. In which he stressed the distribution of land plots for citizens promised a major step to serve the Iraqi citizen.
