Shafaq News / Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki launched on Wednesday a sharp attack on the Presidency of the parliament for delaying important laws, while announced that it has submitted an appeal to the Federal Court on the " policy and work" of the parliament and revealed making a decision within the Council of Ministers to spend the financial budget for the current year regardless before approving it.

Maliki said in his weekly televised speech, briefed by “Shafaq News “,” the parliament specifically the Presidency has delayed the political process rather than approving it and accused the Presidency of delaying government work and passing laws without going through the government. "

“The parliament speaker, Osama al-Nujaifi and his two deputies are manipulating the laws , especially those on interest of the people."

Maliki accused Nujaifi also that “he insists on not providing four candidates to take over the office of the Ministry of Defense and Interior to vote on them inside the Dome of the parliament.”

Maliki said that " he has presented an appeal to the Federal Court on the policy and context of the work of the parliament for being illegal ," appealing “ the judiciary to decide on this matter as soon as possible .
