Iraq and Iran aspire to reach nine million tourists

The head of Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce Yahya al-Ishaq said on Wednesday that the two countries are receiving 6 to 7 million tourists a year with a capacity of about 9 million.
"The general policy of Iraq is to reduce dependence on trade and to adopt joint investments. The Iranian side must engage in this kind of investment," Al-Ishaq said in a statement.
He added that "the two countries receive 6 to 7 million tourists annually with the potential to reach the size of about 9 million," calling on the Ministry of Health to "take care of therapeutic tourism for Iraqi expatriates." Ending / 25
