Baghdad governorate council member Hassoun al-Rubaie said on Thursday that the solution to the housing crisis in Baghdad and the whole of the provinces is dependent on the coming of solid companies to build residential complexes and distribute them to the citizens in return for very convenient installments, pointing out that the distribution of land does not solve the problem especially with the lack of services, Gets by the beneficiaries.
Al-Rubaie said in a statement to Al-Mawloma that "the best solution to eliminate the housing crisis lies in the construction of residential complexes and distribution to the citizens who do not own any housing, through the government's contract with the firm companies to take care of the construction and the government received those projects to distribute them in installments very comfortable On beneficiaries ".
He added that "the problem of Iraq lies in the absence of a database containing the names of citizens who own real estate or residential land, which must be the Ministry of Planning to pay attention to, before the start of the distribution of land, because it may be tampered with by some beneficiaries, who will get the land and sell it To other citizens without any building or benefit. "
Al-Rubaie said that "Al-Wahda neighborhood in Baghdad includes a lot of land that the government can use to build and build regular housing complexes such as Basmaya complex, in order to have the necessary services by the executing company without the government taking the trouble of building and distribution to the beneficiaries."
