Qatar increases its US Treasuries holdings by 290% year-on-year in February 2019

Qatar's investments in US Treasuries increased by 291 per cent year-on-year to $ 1.3 billion in February, compared to $ 320 million in the corresponding month of 2018, while rising by 3.4 per cent on a monthly basis, the Treasury Department said in a statement.
Qatar's investments in foreign treasury bonds and bonds at the end of February were $ 12.3 billion, up 230% from February 2018, according to Qatar Central Bank data.
