Minister of Higher Education: Improving performance at the University of Baghdad is a moral and scientific responsibility

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail, held a meeting of the University of Baghdad Council, reviewing with the members of the University Council the axes and objectives of the governmental program on higher education.
The Minister of Education said: "There is a need to develop government higher education, and the restoration of Iraqi universities within the map of universities in the countries of the region and the world," stressing the inevitability of hard work towards improving the academic and university environment and seeking to provide the elements of the development of scientific research in Iraqi universities.
"Improving the quality of performance at the University of Baghdad is a moral and scientific responsibility towards the university and other universities," Suhail said, adding that more efforts were being made to achieve the Iraqi universities' integration factor with their counterparts in the developed countries.
