     Qatar announces the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce


    Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a
     memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce to enhance cooperation between the two sides, coordinate joint work and exchange of information, and develop trade relations and economic cooperation between Qatari companies and their Iraqi counterparts.
    The agreement was signed by Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and by the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Abdul Razzaq Al Zuhairi. The signing ceremony was held at the Chamber's headquarters last weekend. Board of Directors of the Chamber.
    The Chamber and the Federation of Iraqi Chambers are expected to sign the Memorandum of Understanding to develop trade relations and economic cooperation of their affiliated companies, exchange information and data related to the economy, laws and regulations related to the establishment of business, arbitration practices and settlement of commercial disputes, and hold exhibitions and events to collect their affiliated companies to discuss mutual deals and alliances. Iraqi trade delegations in the State of Qatar, and organizing visits to the country's businessmen to the Republic of Iraq to discuss the establishment of joint ventures.
    His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, had earlier stressed keenness to establish alliances and increase trade exchange with Iraq, pointing to the great opportunities for Qatari businessmen.
    Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, said that Qatar and Iraq have strong brotherly relations and that there is keenness to develop these relations, especially in the business and trade sector, pointing out that Iraq has great fundamentals and boasts investment projects that can be Qatari businessmen Enter it.
    He stressed that Qatari and Iraqi businessmen are looking forward to studying projects and opportunities to establish partnerships and develop trade and economic interests between them, and benefit from the memorandums of understanding and agreements signed between the two countries in all fields. He pointed out that there is a desire to increase the volume of trade exchange which is still without the aspirations and potentials of the two brotherly countries, HE the President of the Chamber expressed the hope that the coming period will witness a real beginning for a new phase of joint cooperation between the business sectors in the two countries.
