Baghdad responds to Tehran's threats to strike US troops in Iraq

Baghdad responded to statements by the Iranian ambassador in which he said that his country would strike US forces in Iraq if attacked.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, said Friday, his refusal to "turn his country into an arena for conflict between any conflicting."
He told RT that "Iraq rejects the threats made by Iran or America, which threaten the interests of the two countries, and we stressed that Iraqi territory is a red line."
He added that "Iraq will not be the starting point for aggression against Iran, nor will it allow American interests on its territory to be threatened."
