The Central Bank of Iraq sold more than / 205 / million dollars at auction selling foreign currency today.
The bank said in a statement: "The total amount sold today, amounted to 205 million and 508 thousand and 950 dollars, with the participation of 30 banks and one company."
"The total sale for the purposes of strengthening the balances abroad (remittances and credits) amounted to 183 million, 678 thousand and 950 dollars, while the total cash sale amounted to 21 million and 830 dollars," he said.
The sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad and the sale of cash, at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar.
