On Wednesday, the House of Representatives announced that it will adjourn its 22 regular session, while it held its 23rd session.
Speaker of the Council Muhammad al-Halbousi opened the 23rd session, with 207 deputies present.
The session’s agenda is limited to completing the voting on the House of Representatives bill.
Parliament had adjourned its 22 half-hour session earlier in the evening, after a dispute and quarrels between deputies over Articles 15 and 16 of the draft electoral law, which the Council began voting on its 50 articles.
