BAGHDAD - A leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Nermin Othman discussed on Saturday with the head of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the latest developments in the political process in the country.
The Web site of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), said that Othman discussed with al-Jaafari the possibility of reaching agreements between all political parties, in addition to the existing problems between the Kurdistan region and the federal government.
Othman also met with Vice President Khodair al-Khozai and discussed with him the latest developments in the political process and aspirations to build a new Iraq free of dictatorship, as well as the political and security situation in the country.
It noted that these meetings come within the framework of the participation of Nermin Othman in the Environment Conference held by the Federal Environment Ministry in Baghdad, on the occasion of World Environment Day.
