    The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee confirmed, on Sunday, that all parliamentary investigations into the demonstrations have been completed, and the results are likely to be announced within two weeks.
    Member of the committee, Representative Kati al-Rikabi, said, "All parliamentary investigations into the demonstrations were completed, with the exception of Dhi Qar Governorate," explaining that "the Security and Defense Committee formed investigative committees at the request of the Presidency of the Parliament regarding the events of the demonstrations in some governorates, including Basra, Najaf and Dhi Qar."
    He pointed out that "the Security and Defense Committee has submitted the completed results to the Presidency of Parliament," noting that "there are also committees formed by the government regarding the demonstrations in the governorates, and the results of the investigations of governmental and parliamentary committees can be seen to be announced after the results."
