The deputy of the "construction" coalition, Ahmed Al-Kinani, called on Prime Minister-designate [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/3819/%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF %D8%AA%D9%88%D9%81%D9%8A%D9%82 %D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A]Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi[/url] to replace some of his close associates and advisers during the formation of his government.
Al-Kanani said in a press statement: "Some news indicates that there is pressure from the close circle and advisor to the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi regarding the selection of ministers."
He added: "Allawi is required to choose independent ministers, away from partisanship ... as well as the dimensions of the circle close to him in order to ensure his success in offering his cabinet in accordance with the conditions of the political blocs to choose honest personalities capable of running the state."
Al-Kanani said: "Allawi is able to provide the government during the constitutional period without any delay, because of the support of most political blocs in Parliament."
