    Agencies - The Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, that resorting to the option of air strikes in Iraq would be a limited impact, while welcoming the Saudi Iranian rapprochement on Iraq.

    Said Ki-moon said in a speech at the UN headquarters in New York that "the use of air strikes against insurgents in Iraq may have backfired, too."

    Ki-moon welcomed the "rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Iran," adding that "communications that took place recently between the two parties that will end the destructive competition between the two countries in all of Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria."

    The Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon earlier, that the United States military action in Iraq against fighters "Daash" does not need a mandate from the UN Security Council. G / H
