The media office of the caretaker Prime Minister, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , confirmed on Sunday that Abdel-Mahdi did not inform the political blocs of a new position regarding the continuation of the government’s presidency.
The office stated in a statement received / information /: "We deny what some media have reported about informing Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] political blocs or others about a new position on continuing to head the government."
He added, "Abdul Mahdi's position is the same as that which was officially announced in his letter to the distinguished parliament on February 19."
He explained, "Abdul-Mahdi will announce his official position after the deadline he set then expires, which ends on March 2." 25 n ended
