    Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, discussed the latest security updates in Iraq.

     

    A statement by the SIIC received by All Iraq News cited "Hakim received Kerry at his office in Baghdad where they discussed the latest security updates in Iraq." /End/

    Nujaifi meets with Kerry and asserts: Military options should be linked to political solutions

    BAGHDAD / NINA / Head of Motahedoon Coalition Osama Nujaifi received on Monday U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, in the presence of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq and Iran Brett Makourk and U.S. Ambassador Robert Beecroft.

     

    A statement by the coalition said that the two sides held an important meeting, through which the U.S. secretary expressed the U.S. concern to the people of Iraq and the safety and territorial integrity, and expressed his country's readiness to help Iraq in the fight against al-Qaeda and ISIS, and support efforts in this direction.

     

    He explained, that American logistical support and military and security is linked to the achievement of a new policy to make sure of it.

     

    Kerry said, according to the statement "that they fully prepared to support Iraqi efforts to form a new government able to accomplish the reforms, and the correct path, within the constitutional framework and known timing.

     

    For his part, Nujaifi confirmed his firm principle position against terrorism and al-Qaeda, as well as against the militias, explaining that "the military options should be linked to political solutions that ensure justice and equality, balance and meet the rights. / End
