The Iraqi Council of Representatives will resume its sessions, which were scheduled these days, and "the crisis cell recommendations regarding the Corona Virus" were prevented from this, next Saturday.

This was revealed by a member of the House of Representatives, Deputy Ali, the emirate, in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), and she explained: "It was assumed that the House of Representatives resumed its work during these days, but the recommendations of the crisis cell on the Corona virus prevented this," noting "The parliament has set next March 14 as the date for the end of the legislative holiday and the convening of the first session of the parliament."
The emirate pointed out that "the reason for the absence of an extraordinary emergency session regarding Corona is due to sterilization and fumigation operations that take place inside the building of the parliament, in addition to reducing the time of Parliament employees to 50%."
Regarding the prime ministerial candidates, the emirate confirmed that "there is ambiguity with the issue of the names nominated for prime minister, and there is no official candidate on the ground," stating that "that depends on the compatibility of the Shiite blocs, with the approval of the Sunni and Kurdish blocs, so that there is almost a consensus on Candidate for prime minister. "
The Parliamentary Bloc had earlier revealed the existence of a parliamentary movement to pressure political leaders to nominate a youth figure to the premiership.
The bloc member, MP Hassan Faddam, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is a new movement within the House of Representatives of young members of the Shiite blocs to pressure the leaders of their blocs for the purpose of specifying that the Prime Minister-designate is completely different from his predecessor."
