, Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, confirmed on Monday that all possible measures will be taken to prosecute those responsible for violating Iraqi sovereignty, expressing his concern over the monitoring of unauthorized flights near military areas in Iraq.
Abdel-Mahdi said in a statement, which received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that "carrying out unauthorized military actions is considered a threat to the security of citizens and a violation of sovereignty and the interests of the country."
He added that "the illegal actions in targeting the Iraqi military bases or foreign representations is targeting the Iraqi sovereignty and transgressing the state," stressing that "the government will take all possible measures to pursue the perpetrators and prevent them from carrying out these actions."
