Communications: The electronic signature project will be the main pillar of the digital government

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Minister of Communications, Naim Al-Rubaie, inaugurated today, Thursday, the electronic signature project implemented by the Ministry of Communications represented by the General Company for Communications and Informatics in cooperation with the private sector companies (Vanrise solutions - achievement).
Al-Rubaie said in a press statement, "The Ministry's work was limited during the previous periods as a body responsible for providing the Internet service only, without taking its real role in the rest of the information technology sector despite the explosive budgets that were available during those periods."
He added that "the ministry was able, within one year, despite the circumstances in which the country went through to draw a road map for the ministry's formations that allows it to use its energies and implement projects that serve the citizen and the country and turn them into profitable companies."
Al-Rubaie gave a simple explanatory explanation about the way the project works and its benefits in converting to digital government.
He pointed out that "this project will give legal status to electronic transactions and to the various financial, commercial, health and other sectors, similar to the countries of the developed world."
Al-Rubaie pointed out that "the ministry has had successful experiences in implementing projects for a number of state ministries, which reflects the possibility and efficiency of the elements working in the communications and information technology sector, adding that the state ministries will be approached to demonstrate their desire to benefit from this project." is over
