Sudden interruption of Internet service in Iraq

Earthlink, the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] service provider in Iraq, announced yesterday that it had suddenly discontinued the service.
The company said in a statement: We would like to inform you that the international capacities coming from the eastern border port have been subjected to a sudden interruption, indicating the reason for this interruption is a defect in the international carrier system, as this port is one of the main sources of the Internet in Iraq.
She added that: her technical teams have begun work to compensate for all lost capacities to restore service to normal in the next few hours.
