The Secretary-General of the Nour Movement, Sheikh Muhammad al-Hindawi, revealed that there are more than 4,000 Baathist officers in the Ministry of the Interior, while noting that the current Minister of Defense, Jumah Inad, was a “branch member” of the dissolved Baath Party .
Al-Hindawi said, "There are 4,000 officers involved in de-Baathification in the Ministry of the Interior," noting that "the Senior Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, Adnan Al-Asadi, knows this and spoke about this matter ."
Al-Hindawi added, "Every member of the Baath Party is considered a Saddam ."
On the other hand, Al-Hindawi revealed that "the current defense minister was a member of the Baath Party's division," noting that "the minister has video clips with the former regime chief."
