An expert confirms: The Silk Road and Al-Faw Port will make Iraq a gateway for foreign investment

The economist, Wissam Al-Tamimi, said that the Silk Road and Al-Faw Port will make Iraq a gateway for foreign investment and focus the attention of most countries of the world, pointing out that there are risks and American attempts to thwart such a project .
Al-Tamimi said, "China, as the largest economy in the world, will be able to deliver its goods to all countries of the world easily through the Silk Road, passing through some countries of Asia, Iran and Iraq, reaching the Gulf countries and Europe ."
He added that "Iraq will be a crossroads, which will make it the focus of attention of all countries of the world, which is what the American axis countries are trying to divert this way into one of the Gulf countries allied with America, in order to monopolize this economic activity in favor of Washington ."
And he indicated that "the Faw port and the Silk Road will make Iraq a giant investment gateway, as all industrialized countries will want to obtain lands inside Iraq in order to establish their projects and factories in order to export their goods to other countries through the Silk Road and the Faw port."
