The Presidency of Parliament announced, on Wednesday, that deputies had collected signatures to dismiss the Mayor of Baghdad from his post.

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Al-Kaabi, called on Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to dismiss the Mayor of Baghdad, Alaa Maan and a number of secretariat directors, for their failure to accomplish the service tasks responsible for the people of the capital, Baghdad in general, and the Al-Muntadhar neighborhood in Sadr City in particular.
