The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, today, Thursday, made a phone call to the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, his first deputy, Hassan al-Kaabi, and the head of the Saeron bloc, Nabil al-Tarfi.
According to a statement by his office, Mr. Al-Sadr valued during his calls for "their prominent role in approving the federal budget {for 2021}, and urging them to monitor the implementation of its clauses and keep them out of the hands of the corrupt."
The House of Representatives voted in its session yesterday, Thursday, on the fiscal budget law for 2021 with a value of 129 trillion dinars, after difficult labor and months of discussions regarding it for the divergence of views and differences between the political blocs on the one hand and between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region on the other hand.
