The Minister of Electricity, Majid Mahdi Hantoush, confirmed today, Thursday, that there will be an improvement in the supply of energy, while indicating that the rationalization of energy will allow processing 24 hours a day.
"The upcoming visit that we will conduct to Iran, through which we hope to achieve what is planned to supply the required quantities of gas for all electrical stations," Hantoush said in an interview reported by the Iraqi News Agency.
He added that "there will be an improvement in the supply of energy, and the Ministry of Electricity has the support of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi," noting that "all ministries support the efforts of the Ministry of Electricity and under the guidance of the Prime Minister's Office."
He pointed out that "energy rationalization will allow the supply of 24 hours a day, despite the need for Iraq to 28 thousand megawatts," noting that "it is not possible in a few months to address a problem that has accumulated for years."
