The advantages and their exploitation in forming a joint committee from the three countries to create a high-level electrical connection project.
For his part, the Minister of Electricity said, "Work is underway to form a governmental committee concerned with consolidating and discussing relations and strategic projects between Iraq and Armenia that could serve as strategic or framework agreements that include other parties to serve and enhance regional energy projects, noting that this coordination has already been put forward. Through the Iraqi Foreign Ministry delegation in an earlier period. "
He explained, "The idea of purchasing energy, linking it and passing it seems feasible and appropriate in agreement with the Iranian side, as we currently need the 500 megawatts available to Armenia, and through the triple electrical interconnection, we can enter the global energy market according to competitive prices."
