    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Minister of Commerce, Alaa Al-Jubouri, headed a government delegation to discuss with the Ministry of Commerce in the region important files.
    A statement by the ministry, quoted by its official spokesman, said that "an extensive meeting was held in Erbil and was attended by the Minister of Trade, Alaa al-Jubouri, and a high-level delegation representing public administrations in the ministry's departments and companies, and a Kurdistan delegation headed by the Minister of Trade and Industry."
    The statement added, "Minister al-Jubouri confirmed during the meeting the Iraqi government's tendency to resolve many files and provide the best services to the people of Kurdistan, as in other Iraqi regions."
    Al-Jubouri said, "We are happy when we are in Erbil to discuss with the specialists in the Ministry of Trade in the region the important files related to the services provided by the ministry, as well as to address joint files between the two sides, in the light of which joint committees were formed that lay down a road map for developing work joints and finding solutions.     Al-Jubouri stressed, "The cooperation between the federal government through the Ministry of Commerce in the region is good and positive, and has achieved percentages of success depending on the constitution, which drew the relationship between the center and the region, and in order for it to be a unified service for all Iraqi citizens."
    The minister indicated that "the Ministry of Commerce has paid the full dues of farmers, farmers and marketers for the wheat crop in the governorates of the Kurdistan region for the year 2020, as well as its willingness to distribute the food basket items approved by the Council of Ministers, which it is hoped that work will begin in the beginning of next July, which constitutes a major turning point in the work of The Ministry of Commerce and the ration card system.
    Al-Jubouri stressed, "There is a direct interest from the Prime Minister in the importance of coordination with the regional government and finding ways of cooperation and coordination in many of these files in a way that contributes to serving citizens in all governorates."
    For his part, the Minister of Trade and Industry in the Kurdistan Region stressed "the importance of this visit in drawing up a strategic relationship with the central government, stressing that" the Ministry of Trade in the Kurdistan region is fully prepared to cooperate with all the teams that represent the central government."
    He pointed out, "The importance of cooperation in the field of rehabilitation, training and commercial and financial control over the work of mills, silos and all commercial departments in Kurdistan."
    He pointed out that "these departments need training and rehabilitation by employees who have experience and competence in the Ministry of Commerce in the central government."
    On the same level, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce confirmed that "the meeting discussed important axes, most notably the preparations necessary for the food basket project through the rehabilitation of warehouses in the region, and discussing the issue of those who are blocked on the ration card in the provinces of the region from Iraqi nationalities."
    He pointed out that "the meeting stressed the importance of the region's contribution to implementing the cabinet's decision to withhold the ration card from those with high incomes, as well as the marketing campaign for the wheat crop and the importance of launching it in the region's governorates, where there is a great governmental effort and an effort by the Ministry of Trade by urging the Ministry of Agriculture to complete all procedures At the start of the marketing season in the ring crop in light of the urgent need for grain in light of the global food crisis and the success of the marketing season.
    He continued that "one of the most prominent files that were discussed with the region are the procedures related to the registration of companies and the need to unify the electronic link between the sites in the region and the center, as well as the repetition in the names of the ration card through the province's boycott of information and the blocking of duplicate names in the ration card."
    He explained that "the meeting also discussed the file of the establishment of the joint opposition between the center and the region and the establishment of a shopping and marketing center at the Baghdad International Fair and the necessity of the region's contribution to participate in the center's activities, as well as the establishment of a commercial data center that would be an important base for data and study of supply and demand and dollar exchange rates, with the aim of controlling the market movement." .
    And he indicated that "the meeting discussed the issue of unifying procedures regarding import licenses to be one in all regions of Iraq, including the regions of the Kurdistan region, and the importance of implementing the minutes of the joint meeting signed between my delegation representing the ministries of commerce in the Federal and the Region, which was agreed upon on several axes, the aim of which is to unify procedures regarding import licenses." ".
    He added, "The other matter directed the Minister of Commerce during the meeting to carry out transfers of the wheat crop by completing the region's governorates' share of wheat through quick transfers that take place from the governorates of Kirkuk, Nineveh and Salah al-Din, provided that coordination with the security services is done for the purpose of entering trucks loaded with wheat material to the mills. civil and governmental in the region.
    And he indicated that "the meeting also discussed the need for commercial establishments in the region to have supplies and to overcome obstacles to work, and instructed the Minister of Commerce to form a working group for the purpose of addressing these obstacles and coordinating with the commercial departments in the region to improve work and raise the level of coordination to achieve the highest levels of success."
    He continued, "The meeting discussed the issue of targeting on the issue of the ration card, and stressed the Iraqi government's keenness that targeting in the ration card be for the poor and the needy, and that families who are not in the poverty line are excluded because of their high salaries, and this is his responsibility on the commercial departments and ministries of the region in order to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of those included. The ration card contributes to increasing the quantities and improving the quality by making use of these materials.
    The meeting stressed, "the importance of the success of the marketing season for the wheat crop for 2021 and the need to launch it in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture in the federal government and the issue of those withheld from the ration card in the provinces of non-Iraqi nationalities, as well as the issue of electronic linkage and automation between sites in the departments and companies of the ministry in the center and The provinces of the region, as well as the issue of preparing for the preparation of the food basket through the rehabilitation of stores and the rehabilitation of laboratory testing devices in the regions of the region, and following up on the work of the mills in the provinces of the region through the auditing and control of these mills by the supervisory bodies in the Ministry of Trade of the Federal Government, which contributes to the production of good flour for the people of the region ".
    He added, "As well as the issue of targeting with regard to the ration card through and withholding those who are not covered by the ration card from those with high incomes whose salaries exceed 1.5 million, according to the decision of the Council of Ministers, and the other axis is the axis of joint exhibitions and the importance of establishing a shopping and marketing center in the Baghdad Fair."     The meeting also discussed the issue of standardizing procedures in laboratory examination, and the two sides agreed that the procedures for examination should be unified between the two sides, especially since the central laboratories in the Ministry of Commerce carry out examination operations periodically, and it is not possible to distribute or prepare any material without being subject to laboratory examination procedures.
