    {Local: Al Furat News} Today, Sunday, the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, chaired a meeting that included the Minister of Justice and a number of officials in the government and the Presidency of the Republic.

    And the government statement, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated: "During which they discussed the current conditions of prisons in Iraq, and the ministry's measures to implement its plans to develop prisons and make them places for reform and psychological rehabilitation for inmates in them, and to meet human rights standards."
     Al-Kazemi directed to follow up on accelerating and facilitating the procedures for special amnesty, especially for groups of juvenile children and women, stressing: “The importance of activating the rehabilitation and guidance programs for depositors, which would help in reform, reintegration and social and educational rehabilitation.”
