, the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, confirmed that his country exports to Iraq 47 million cubic meters of gas daily.
Masjedi said at the Rafidain Forum 2021: "Who supports Iraq other than Iran in the matter of supplying electric power?", indicating that his country exports 47 million cubic meters to Iraq daily.
He added, that the Islamic Republic always welcomes and encourages dialogue with the governments of the region, noting that there are a number of dialogues between Iran and Saudi Arabia that started inside Iraq and will continue in other rounds adopted by the new Iranian government.
And he indicated that Iran welcomes any discussion and dialogue towards peace and friendship, and we should not be worried about Iran's policy. Concern is imposed by the enemies of the region and they are trying to dictate it to us.
