    Today, Saturday, the Korean company Daewoo pledged to implement the Grand Faw port project on time and with the required technical specifications.
    The General Company for Iraqi Ports stated, in a statement received by the "National News Center", that it "met with the delegation of the Korean company executing the project of the great port of Faw, in which they discussed the coordination between the ports of Iraq and the Korean Daewoo and the Italian consultant in order to implement the works as planned without prejudice to the design The basis for the project.

    The company's general manager, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said, according to the statement, that "the necessity of exchanging visits between the port administration and the management of the Korean company Daewoo was emphasized in order to resolve all outstanding points."
    For his part, the director of the Korean Daewoo company, Kim Young, said that "the company is well aware of the interest of the Iraqi government and people in the large projects of FAO implemented by Daewoo," noting that "he visited Iraq to check himself first on the validity and schedule of the project implementation program."
    The director of the Korean Daewoo pledged that the company "will implement this project on time and with the required technical specifications," expressing "the desire of the Korean company's management to cooperate with Iraq's ports in other areas."
