Signing a memorandum of understanding between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq to enhance cooperation in the fields of industrial integration

Within the framework of the visit of Jordanian Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Al-Shamali and the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Jameh signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the fields of industrial integration between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, and the agreement will be signed from the side Iraq in the coming period.
Youssef Al-Shamali affirmed Jordan's keenness to enhance joint cooperation with Egypt, in light of the distinguished relations that bind the two countries. He pointed out that the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince comes within the framework of strengthening the existing cooperation between Jordan and Egypt, and in preparation for the start of a new phase of economic integration.
The signing of the agreement was based on the results of the tripartite summit held in Jordan last year, which emphasized the importance of implementing a package of cooperation projects between the three countries, as well as strengthening partnership and deepening coordination, cooperation and joint strategic integration.
