On Wednesday, November 24, private security sources revealed to Shafaq News Agency, the arrest of the Director of Explosive Control in the Ministry of Interior, against the background of the investigation into the attempted assassination of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
Security sources said that the arrest came due to the detonation of one of the unexploded ordnances that were found above Al-Kazemi's house, on charges of misleading the investigation committee.
The house of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi was targeted at the dawn of the seventh of November, by drones, one of which fell in the courtyard of the house.
And the security forces managed to shoot down two other planes that were on their way to target the house.
