Iraq and Jordan sign a memorandum of understanding in the fields of industrial integration
Shafaq News/ The Minister of Industry and Minerals Manal Uzair Al-Khabbaz and the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Al-Shamali held, today, Wednesday, a round of talks that resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the fields of industrial integration.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, Al-Khabbaz confirmed, "At the beginning of the discussions, the depth of the strong relationship that links Iraq and Jordan in all fields, especially the industrial and economic fields, to achieve common goals and develop the industry in both countries."
He pointed out, "Iraq's tendency to open up to all countries to support the investment process and industrial integration and to formulate a real partnership policy in light of the challenges of the next stage. He also stressed the need to continue and work for the success of the industry through the exchange of experiences and the employment of manpower in a manner that serves the two brotherly countries."
For his part, the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply affirmed, "The government and people of the Kingdom aspire to achieve industrial integration and support the Iraqi industry through investors and to continue joint relations in a manner that serves the two brotherly countries and according to the directions of the two countries' senior leaders."
The two sides discussed a number of common topics and files, including providing services to investors and industrialists, encouraging investment, as well as facilitating all procedures and granting visas within the legal frameworks and regulations in force. National".
At the conclusion of the talks, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding in the areas of industrial integration within the framework of tripartite cooperation between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan and based on the outcomes of the tripartite summit of the leaders of the three countries, which emphasized the speedy implementation of a package of joint projects and the strengthening of effective partnership and tripartite coordination mechanisms.
