The Iraqi government lowers cement prices
Shafaq News/ The General Company for Iraqi Cement, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Friday the reduction of the prices of cement produced in some of its factories according to a decision of the Board of Directors for the current year 2022.
The company’s general manager, Ali Zaidan Khalaf, said in a statement today, that the company has (18) plants for the production of ordinary and resistant cement in accordance with standard specifications, and these laboratories have quality certificates from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, in addition to international quality certificates from international companies examining quality standards. .
He pointed out that the current prices of the company's products are competitive and all beneficiaries can review the marketing department in the company or directly review the factories, as the price of the resistant cement produced in the Kufa Cement Factory amounts to (89) thousand dinars per bagged ton instead of (95) thousand dinars and that the prices of ordinary cement And the resistor produced in the northern cement plants, which includes Badush Expansion, Badush Al-Jadeed and Al-Rafidain, was reduced to (91) thousand dinars per ton for both types instead of (95) thousand dinars.
At the same time, he noted that the prices of cement produced in the Muthanna and Najaf cement plants did not witness any reduction, as the price of the resistant cement produced in the Muthanna Cement Plant amounted to (87) thousand dinars per bagged ton, and the price of ordinary cement produced in the Najaf Cement Plant (88) thousand dinars per ton.
