Earth News/ The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs confirmed, today, Monday, to increase the financial allocation to expand social protection coverage.
A ministry statement received by Earth News stated, "The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Alaa Abboud Al-Sakini, received MPs Ali Al-Saadi and Hussam Al-Saadi in his office today, and during the meeting, they discussed the mechanism of joint cooperation with the ministry."
Al-Sakini indicated, according to the statement, the ministry's need to "increase the financial allocation in accordance with the 2022 budget for the purpose of including new numbers of beneficiaries of social protection and special needs."
