, a member of the House of Representatives, Mishaan al-Jubouri, suggested, on Saturday, that the Sovereignty and Kurdistan Democratic blocs would not attend the parliament session on Monday dedicated to electing the President of the Republic.
Al-Jubouri wrote in a tweet on the (Twitter) platform, "After the sudden decision of the current not to participate in the session of electing the President of the Republic, it is likely that the Sovereignty and Kurdistan Democratic blocs will not attend the session, and thus the quorum will not be achieved for it and we will enter the unprecedented constitutional vacuum stage! "
The Sadrist bloc decided, today, Saturday, to boycott the parliament session on Monday, which is dedicated to electing the President of the Republic, and also decided to freeze negotiations with all political blocs regarding the formation of the government. Ended 29/N33
