    The Minister of Transport, Nasser Hussein Al-Shibli, called during his meeting with his Lebanese counterpart, Ali Hamieh, yesterday, Saturday, to open prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
    A statement by the ministry stated, "Al-Shibli met in Baghdad with his protector, in the presence of the Lebanese ambassador to Iraq and the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Hazem Radi Al-Hafadi, and during the meeting, a number of important issues related to the field of air, sea and land transport were discussed."
    Al-Shibli called, according to the statement, to “open horizons of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries, which in turn contributes to the development of joint work and service.
    The public good.”
    For his part, the Lebanese Minister of Transport expressed his "happiness with this meeting, which he described as fruitful," stressing that "a set of understandings have been reached in developing work in all areas of public transport."
