Earth News/ The Director of Iraqi Ports, Engineer Farhan Al-Fartousi, stressed today, Tuesday, that joint work with the Egyptian side will benefit both sides.
And the port media said in a statement received by Earth News, that "Al-Fartousi received the Egyptian Consul in Basra, Ahmed Bahaa El-Din, at the company's headquarters."
The Director General said that "the meeting with the Egyptian Consul was fruitful, in which they discussed the development and training of staff and the exchange of experiences between the two parties," stressing that "joint work with the Egyptian side will benefit both sides."
For his part, the Egyptian Consul, Ahmed Bahaa El-Din, said that he was “happy with the meeting and the talk about development and the exchange of experiences,” praising at the same time “the senior port administration in its endeavor to develop ports and build the great port of Faw.”
