Earth News/ The Ministry of Oil announced today, Tuesday, the completion of its preparations by providing stocks of white oil derivatives and liquid gas cylinders for processions and service bodies for the visit to the martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
The Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, said, in a statement received by Earth News, that "the strategic storage of government and private fuel filling stations in the Baghdad governorate, on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa, has been enhanced with a quantity of (67) million liters of white oil derivatives (white oil and gas oil). And gasoline) includes (50) million liters of gasoline and (15) million liters of gas oil (2) million liters of white oil.
He added, "The company has mobilized its staff in the Baghdad Distribution Authority and has prepared special surfaces for liquid gas cylinders in a number of areas in the capital, Baghdad, and they will be directly supplied with quantities."
The statement indicated, "the preparation of a comprehensive emergency plan to follow up on public safety procedures and storage at the fuel filling stations near the holy city of Kadhimiya, in addition to the formation of a committee to supervise the follow-up of the fuel plan during the visit and until its completion."
