Parliament held its session today, Monday, under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
And the media department of the Council stated in a statement, "Al-Halbousi opened the work of the second session, the fifth parliamentary session of the first legislative year, the first legislative term."
He added, "Four MPs have taken the constitutional oath, and they are Muhammad Karim Abdel Hussein, Alaa Sabah Merhi, Wasfi Assi Hussein, and Adel Hashush Jaber."
Referred to the Presidency of Parliament, confirmed earlier that the agenda of today's session will include hosting Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi.
