[rtl]Today, Tuesday, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein affirmed that the government has put rebuilding the liberated cities at the top of its priorities, while noting that it is working to build good and balanced relations with the countries of the world .[/rtl]
[rtl]Hussein said in Iraq's speech at the 48th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, "We commend the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for its preparations for the purpose of holding this session a success, and we extend our thanks to the Republic of Niger for its efforts in its presidency of the previous session, indicating : "I seize this opportunity to stress that the victories achieved by the Iraqi people over the terrorist gangs of ISIS proved the pluralistic, democratic identity of the federal Iraq through the cohesion of the people of all sects, nationalities and religions with the security forces of all kinds, with the help and solidarity of the brothers and the international community. The victory over the gangs of ISIS is a victory for the peoples The world and all humanity, where the Iraqis fought their just war against terrorism, in defense of the homeland and also on behalf of the world, and in defense of human values and meanings, with the will of our peace-loving people and rejecting all forms of extremism and violence".[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "while we fought terrorism, the government of Iraq is working to achieve development, stability and peaceful community coexistence, after defeating ISIS gangs and liberating Iraqi lands and regaining control over them, if Iraq and the world become safer after these historic victories," stressing "the importance of concerted efforts." To combat all forms of discrimination, extremism and misunderstanding of religion, eliminate feelings of exclusion, and work to spread a culture of tolerance, moderation and dialogue between cultures and religions .[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed, "the necessity of working to activate and implement all the decisions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations Organization related to combating defamation of religions and the integration of minorities into societies and drying up the sources of terrorism and extremist ideology and ways of financing it," noting that "the Iraqi government has put at the top of its priorities the rebuilding of liberated cities and the rehabilitation of their destroyed infrastructure."
