    MP, of (Reform bloc), Helal al-Sahlani declared collecting 80 signatures from House of Representatives to convene an emergency session to discuss the Spyker massacre, which claimed the lives of 1,700 troops an consider it a crime against humanity.

    Sahlani said in a statement today: “We demanded the presidency of parliament to convene an emergency session to discuss the Spyker base massacre in Salahuddin province, which claimed the lives of 1,700 students in the Air Force, who were inside, including 400 students from Dhi Qar province.”

    Sahlani added, “We collected the signatures of 80 MPs, and we will send an official letter to the chairman of the parliament to hold emergency meeting to discuss this issue,” / end
